The heavy-duty R-O Convertible Centerless is a solidly built, compact unit applying the same modern techniques as a large centerless grinding machine. It is ideal for small shops, toolrooms and production operations. You can now add centerless grinding capability to existing grinders instead of buying expensive machines requiring large amounts of floor space.

Basic design for thru feed grinding, allows conventional end to end and continuous bar length feeding, in a left to right, or right to left feed operation. Easily adapted to entrance and exit load and unload chutes and long bar supports.

The R-O Centerless is powered by a flexible drive shaft from the R-O Form Relief Fixture providing infinitely variable requlating wheel speeds from 0 to 80 RPM. Flexible shafts are available in 10" to 4" lengths. Power can be taken from the machine tool or an optional power pack.

Optional drop-on wheel dresser takes the place of the work rest blade, to assure parallelism between the grinding wheel and regulating wheel. Doubleend diamond fresser permits single set dressing of both wheels.

Diameter changes in less than 30 seconds.
Another outstanding feature is the ease of set-up. This is accomplished by means of two sinple adjustments. One handwheel controls the distance from the work blade to the face of the regulating wheel. A second handwheel controls the relationship of the top on the work blade to the centerline of the bar. This simplicity makes small lot runs practical.
